Building a Safer World for Our Furry Family
It started with a simple, heartbreaking question from my 8-year-old son, Ihaan: “What happens if Maui gets lost and we lose him?”
Looking at our beagle, Maui, I realized the comforting answers I wanted to give just were not true. As pet parents, we still rely heavily on outdated technology. Hoping a stranger can successfully scan a microchip, or trusting a noisy, faded metal collar, leaves far too much to chance when it comes to the safety of our best friends. That innocent question exposed a massive gap in how we protect our pets, and it became the true beginning of Snootit.
We knew there had to be a modern way to create a secure digital identity for pets. Snootit was born from a mission to build a kinder, safer world where every pet can be easily identified, fiercely protected, and quickly reunited with the people who love them.
We built a complete ecosystem for lost pet prevention. For everyday visibility and instant connection, our physical, allow anyone who finds your pet to access vital information with a quick smartphone scan. But we did not stop there. For ultimate peace of mind, we integrated cutting-edge, . The pet is the primary entity in Snootit, not the owner's account. A pet's identity is permanent and independent — it exists even if guardianship changes.
Identity ≠ Ownership
Creating a Snootit ID does not establish legal ownership. We are an identity and safety platform, not a legal authority. Disputes are handled through proper channels.
Safety Is Never Paywalled
Lost Mode, Recovery Room, and every safety-critical feature is free — forever. We will never charge a fee when a pet's life is at stake.
Privacy by Architecture
Your data is encrypted at rest and in transit. The public profile is a whitelist — only fields you explicitly enable are shared. Sensitive data never reaches the client.
